Additonal: I joined BARC two years ago as I wanted to improve my riding and have fun doing it with other riders. I rode as a teenager and spent a lot of time with Glenys and Norm Shandley helping them with their horses. For 20 years I had nothing to do with horses while I studied art, travelled overseas and had three children. My re-introduction equine passion came about ten years ago after I was given a beautifu,l black, warmblood dressage horse by the name of Magic. Magiic is now a healthy and happy 24 year old who I love riding bareback around Sandy Point. The horse that I am currently riding at adult riders is a 16.2, 21 year old stock horse by the name of Joel. I am enjoying riding Joel who is a very noble and kindhearted horse. A couple of months ago I was graded for the first time on him and since then I have ridden him in one dressage competition
