The Bennison Adult Riding Club Inc was founded in 1990 by Cindy Barker and Julie Walsh. For the Financial Year commencing 1st November 1990 there were 6 financial riding members and 1 financial non-riding member. Throughout out the rest of the Financial Year there were 6 more members join giving a total of 12 riding and 1 non-riding member.

Since then the Bennison Adult Riding Club Inc, which is affiliated with The Horse Riding Club Association of Victoria has increased its membership from that to 35 riding members and 1 non-riding member with more interest shown for membership at every meeting.

The Club has shown quite a lot of success over the last few years especially with members representing the Club at all the Top Team Trophy events whether it be Showing, Dressage, Horse Trials or Show jumping. Usually we are able to send at least two teams.

A couple of our big successes have been winning the Top Team Trophy Dressage 2011 as well as winning the TTT Show jumping in March 2007 that was held in Sale.

The success we are having has been mainly due to a great organizing executive committee and enthusiastic riders who are willing to put in the effort to improve and help others to learn and improve as well whilst maintaining a happy and friendly environment
